  • Respect the uniqueness of each resident;
  • Communicate with residents in an appropriate manner;
  • Provide the peaceful environment residents require, where noise, circulation and conversation are kept to a minimum, in order to promote a quiet and restful setting;
  • Respect the choice of residents with regard to the gender of the caregiver who will provide hygiene care.
