- Ensure that all interpersonal communication is carried out with courtesy, honesty and mutual respect of opinions;
- Practice active listening in order to understand the situation or opinion of others;
- Ensure information is accurate, relevant and given to the appropriate persons;
- Recognize that the complaint management process is an opportunity for improvement and development;
- Exercise discretion by avoiding comments, outside appropriate areas, regarding the health condition, social, reactions and treatment or care plan of residents.
